My paternal grandfather was James WILKS b. 1856 Shoreditch, East London and maternal grandfather was Allen HALLWORTH b. 1874 Norbury Moor, Cheshire. Both moved with families to Watford about 1910 - James to set up a cycle business in Beechen Grove, Watford and Allen moved with British Rail to work at Stonebridge Park, near Watford. Thomas Henry WILKS b. 1900 married Eleanor HALLWORTH b. 1905 in St. Michaels Church, Watford in 1932. Would appreciate contact with any descendants or associates. Bob Wilks, south Wales.
